Certifications & Accreditations

Ecolab Analytics and Technical Centre (EATC) is formally recognized by the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MoENR), Royal Government of Bhutan, as well as by the Bhutan Standards Bureau (BSB). These recognitions affirm the laboratory’s competence, reliability, and adherence to national regulatory requirements for environmental testing and calibration services.

EATC is currently undergoing the certification process for IS/ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for testing and calibration laboratories. This internationally recognized standard specifies the general requirements for competence, impartiality, and consistent operation of laboratories. The certification process is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

Achieving IS/ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation will mark a significant quality milestone for the Centre, further strengthening its commitment to technical excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This accomplishment will enhance confidence among clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders by ensuring that all laboratory results are technically valid, traceable, and globally accepted.
